I can’t believe capes are back. Nor how good they look with skinny jeans!!

• Suggested fabrics: woven wools, tweeds, gabardines – something nice and chunky. It could also do with being lined – try a mid-weight satin
• Notions: thread for sewing; about 10cm of interfacing for the collar and facing; one large button or three if you prefer
• Estimated time to complete: 2hrs
